The MPD is a scuba and rafting version of the MPU, but with a blunt tip for prying and to prevent suit puncture. It was designed to cut your way out of trouble or as a general-purpose blade available for any task. It is unobtrusive and can be worn anywhere; sleeve, leg, chest or around one's neck until needed. It is only available in an all titanium construction for maximum strength and corrosion resistance. This knife will never rust. The handle is skeltonized and the blade comes fully serrated. A plain edge is offered in limited supply. A kydex sheath is included and detachable handles will be available.
The MPD is small enough to stay out of the way until needed and big enough to get you out of entanglements plus tough enough to stay that way over years of exposure to sea conditions. It can be used, abused and put away without cleaning and still be ready and able to do the job. |
