Spec Sheet: Titanium Tactical Titan
Mission Knive's MPF1-Ti is a maintenance-free, heavy duty performer
by MSG Kim Breed, 5th Special Forces (Ret.)

The author said the right-hand, reverse serrations are aggressive and cut with abandon.

The MPF1-TI by Mission Knives is a titanium side-lock folder that's maintenance free (Nylotron ® washers are the only non-titanium part). All you have to do is keep the edge sharp! I don't know about you but I love the concept. Use the knife wipe it and put it in your pocket, which is what I did on a recent camping trip.

The first thing I noticed about the MPF1 is its weight compared to its size. Overall length is just over 9 inches with the wight around 5.5 ounces. It's a big folder yet lightweight. The second thing caught my eye is the sturdy construction--thick handle slabs, large screws, pivot pin and clothing clip. A knife built like this can handle the heaviest uses.

The MPF1 has all the bells and whistles of a tactical folder in a beta-titanium blade

Beta Serrater- I started the test by filleting fish. The MPF1's beta-titanium blade made short work of the task. Next, I used the knife's reverse serrations to cut through fish bones to provide catfish bait.
