| All week, continued to place in sheaths and let soak during the day and dry out (out of water) at night, attempting to simulate actual usage. Let all knives dry out for 4 hours before photos.
All of the leather sheaths stink.
- Mission Knives MPK - No signs of corrosion.
- Ontario Navy MK3 MOD0 - Rear screw almost completely rusted out - almost no head left in screw. Layer of rust over the entire knife. Rust appears to be deeper and there appears to be more pitting.
- Ontario USMC Combat Knife - Leather has swelled. HEAVY, HEAVY coat of rust over the entire knife, including pommel, and, what appears to be a "flaking" effect. Pitting is setting in. Guard continues to rust, as does pommel.
- Ontario Air Force Survival - Leather has swelled. HEAVY, HEAVY coat of rust over the entire knife, including pommel, and, what appears to be a "flaking" effect. Pitting is setting in. Guard continues to rust, as does pommel.
