| Let all knives dry out for 4 hours before photos. Appears that the rust forms faster when left out in the atmosphere to dry. Knives had been soaking 24 hours a day for the last 7 days.

- Mission Knives MPK - No signs of corrosion.
- Ontario Navy MK3 MOD0 - Back screw almost completely rusted out, very little of the "Phillips" screw head remains. Layer of rust over the entire knife. Cutting edge of the knife is diminishing. Very little pitting, but some is evident.
- Ontario USMC Combat Knife - HEAVY coat of rust over the entire knife, including pommel. Black dye still coming off the handle. Handle appears to have swelled as much as it is going to - it is soft and squishy due to the amount of water is has absorbed. Cutting edge is completely gone. Some pitting is evident. Guard continues to rust, as does pommel.
- Ontario Air Force Survival - HEAVY coat of rust over the entire knife, including pommel. Black dye still coming off the handle. Handle appears to have swelled as much as it is going to - it is soft and squishy due to the amount of water is has absorbed. Cutting edge is completely gone. Some pitting is evident.
